Railway Cutting Stabilisation by application of Sprayed Concrete

SES were contracted to stabilise an existing railway cutting adjacent to Ford Lane Bridge on the London to Brighton line.

The works were time critical and had to be completed within programme to enable access scaffold to be removed during a pre-planned track possession.

The works were undertaken within a challenging environment, being close to residential dwellings in a steep sided cutting with limited access available.

SES completed the works ahead of programme and to the satisfaction of the client.
